Listen and follow together

Text-to-speech with synchronized word highlighting.

ReadThisAloud keeps spoken narration connected to visible text so you can hear the words, see where the Reader is, and move to another location when you need to.

Synchronized reading

Know where the narration is without searching for the sentence.

01
◎
Word tracking

Highlight the current spoken word.

Word-boundary timing connects the narration to the visible read-along text so the current word can stay highlighted as playback progresses.

02
→
Line tracking

Use a line pointer when you prefer less visual movement.

Choose the line-pointer tracking mode when you want the Reader to keep your place at the line level rather than highlighting every word.

03
↪
Direct navigation

Click a spoken-word location and move the reading position.

Click-to-jump tools help you move directly to another part of the current reading material instead of repeatedly skipping forward or backward.

04
◫
Reading view

Adjust the workspace around the text.

Reading Mode, text size, line spacing, brightness, and tracking color let you adapt the read-along view to the way you prefer to follow text.

See it in context: Try the workflow with a PDF, a Word document, or a public webpage. For keyboard- and screen-reader-focused options, see accessible text-to-speech on Windows.
Read along

Hear the narration and keep the text in view.

Synchronized tracking, navigation, and reading-view controls work together to make long-form listening easier to follow.
